Indian Stream Health Center welcomes new pharmacist, expands hours for pharmacy
In response to community need, Indian Stream Health Center (ISHC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Paula J. Troie, R.Ph, to its pharmacy team and that it is expanding hours at its in-house pharmacy.
“Our daily mission is to provide the highest quality of comprehensive medication services to both patients of our practice and the community at large,” said Jessica Remillard, PharmD, R.Ph, and Director of the Pharmacy at ISHC. “By adding extra hours of operation for the convenience of patients and bringing Paula aboard, we’ll be even more customer-friendly.”
Ms. Troie joins Indian Stream from PillPack in Manchester, NH where she served as Onboarding Pharmacist. Before her tenure at PillPack, she served as a Lead Pharmacist at PharMerica in Concord, NH, at Osco Pharmacy in Westbrook, ME and at CVS Pharmacy in Keene and Nashua, NH.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, MA and an Associate’s Degree in Science and Engineering from Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, MA. She has been recognized by the New Hampshire Pharmacist’s Association with the New Hampshire Bowl of Hygenia Award, by New Futures as an Advocacy in Action Ward Recipient, by the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce as a Volunteer of the Year and by CVS Pharmacy with a Paragon Award.
“Paula brings considerable skills as a pharmacist and a very strong background to our team,” noted Ms. Remillard. “We’re thrilled to have her at ISHC.”
The Pharmacy, located on the ground floor of ISHC’s Colebrook location, will now be open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
ISHC’s pharmacy is full-service and accepts any valid prescription, says Ms. Remillard. It provides a wide range of products, services and counseling to patients and the community. “One doesn’t have to be a patient of ISHC to access our pharmacy,” Ms. Remillard. “We welcome members of the community.”
Other features include:
“As part of Indian Stream Health Center’s patient-centered care, we work closely with our providers on behalf of those we serve,” said Ms. Remillard. “When a patient is seen in the center and needs a prescription, we can have it ready for them before they leave our building.”
